Joann D’Emilio is Of Counsel to Glassman & Brown LLP. Since 2007, Ms. D’Emilio’s practice has focused on Trusts and Estates, and Elder Law and Special Needs matters. She has experience in a wide range of related areas, including drafting Wills and Special Needs Trusts, working with clients on asset protection strategies, representing executors, administrators, guardians, and trustees on all aspects of estate and trust administration, and Medicaid and benefits planning and applications. Ms. D’Emilio has lectured on Medicaid Law, Probate proceedings, Estate and Special Needs Planning, and Trust Administration for different organizations and audiences.
Ms. D’Emilio is a member of the New York State Bar Association Trusts and Estates Section, and the Elder Law & Special Needs Section.
Ms. D’Emilio is a graduate of Cornell University (B.S. with Distinction) and St. John’s University School of Law (J.D. cum laude). She is admitted to practice in the State of New York, and the United States District Court for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York.
