GLORIA R. TRESSLER graduated from Fairfield University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology, from Hahnemann Medical College & Hospital with a Masters in Clinical Microbiology and earned her law degree from Pace University School of Law, cum laude. Ms. Tressler was admitted to the New York State Bar in 2014. She began her practice serving disabled and elderly clients at John Jay Legal Services. Thereafter, as an associate attorney in a private firm, she practiced in the areas of elder law, estate planning, Medicaid and guardianships. Ms. Tressler also worked as a deputy county attorney handling municipal issues, legislation, juvenile delinquency cases and assisted outpatient treatment matters.

Ms. Tressler brings years of experience and knowledge in the areas of special education and adult programs for people with developmental disabilities. She has volunteered her time as an officer and director on several boards of non-profit organizations that provide services and advocate for children and adults with developmental disabilities.

Ms. Tressler joined the law firm of Glassman & Brown, LLP as an associate attorney in 2019. She concentrates her practice in the areas of estate planning and administration, elder law, special needs planning and guardianships. Ms. Tressler is a member of the Westchester Women’s Bar Association, the Putnam County Bar Association and the New York State Bar Association where she is a member of the Elder Law Section. She regularly attends programs offered by the bar associations related to her areas of practice.
